If there was something that would come to your mind first when you heard the word Russia, it has to be the Bolsheviks, Leo Tolstoy, Soviet Regime, or the grand palaces in which the Tsars and Tsarinas lived. Nevertheless, the days of Soviet era and cold war have passed and it is time for the Russian nation to reinvent herself. In the process of reinvention, many Russian designers have tried to imbibe their cultural heritage in the products they design and some are really funny, if you ask me.
Russian designer Neko has designed the Mouse Made of Stone, which looks interesting to say the least. The stony-faced mouse comes with two buttons and even a scroll button to make your life easy. In my opinion, this is one of the coolest mice I have come across, though I do not see anything particularly Russian about it. Also, the price and availability is not known at this point of time.
Perhaps, it is because of the Russian heritage the designer has that the Stone Mouse turned out so cool, just like everything else about the country is cool. If you think this stone mouse is too heavy for your delicate and fragile hands, you are quite a loser. However, we still have a few interesting mouse designs already featured on this site. You could try the spine chilling Bone Mouse Mod and the retro chic Steampunk Mouse. However, I find the stone Mouse incredibly cool!

If you were toying with the idea of a bizarre mouse, I am sure you would have thought of something gory or something funny. You would never have thought of the NES gamepad being redesigned as a mouse, so that you could not only play games but also help you navigate through your computer. Here is a foam model of an NES Gamepad Mouse which was recently found by one of the bloggers.
Though it is a brilliant and wonderful piece of art and also a great idea, it is still a foam model. If NES check this up and starts to see why this idea is getting so hugely popular, maybe they would decide to manufacture them! However, the NES Gamepad mouse would require a lot of technology in it as it should function as a Gamepad and also as a mouse at the same time. The two red buttons and the Gamepadesque look on the mouse is almost surreal and it just get into anyone’s heads that could possibly be manufactured.
Perhaps if all the great minds start to brainstorm, they may find a way to manufacture thing of beauty. NES Controller reminds one of the nostalgic memories one had as kids as that was when NES Gamepad was so big. As an ode to the D-pad, perhaps it is at least time to create a mouse that just looks like the D-pad but does not work as a controller. While you wait it for at least a decade, you could perhaps begin your own gaming design plan!

3DConnexion Mouse Has An LCD Screen Posted
Believe it or not but the picture above is a mouse... yes, a computer mouse. The 3DConnexion SpacePilot has an LCD screen and a bunch of buttons. I'm guessing that this mouse is supposed to increase your productivity, but I don't think it would help me at all. It has buttons for your important shortcuts, but it has an LCD screen and that alone would really distract me. It has drivers for Windows XP and Vista, Solaris 8 and 10, and Linux, but it looks Mac users are left out to dry here. The SpacePilot mouse is now available for a low, low price of $499 USD.

1 Take care with your chair
By law, office chairs used at a computer must meet minimum standards. Your seat-back must be adjustable in both height and tilt, while the chair must support your body and you must be able to sit back in it comfortably. If you need extra support, consider a separate back support.
2 Look forward to work
Make sure your monitor is directly in front of you, an arm’s length away. When you are working on a document, the top line of text should be just below eye level. Don’t forget that if you change the position of your chair, you need to adjust the monitor, too.
3 Get back to neutral
Your keyboard should be directly in front of you. Your shoulders should be relaxed with your upper arms free at your sides. Wrists and arms should also retain a neutral posture to avoid any upward wrist extension.

Ensure documents you need to refer to are placed in an “in-line” position. This means propped vertically between your computer screen and keyboard – or in a suitable document holder – so the only movement required is by your eyes.
8 On the move
Don’t forget that the human body is not designed to sit for long periods, even with the best posture. Get up and move about or stretch at least every 45 minutes – although doing so every 20 minutes is even better.
9 Take to water ways
In order to be efficient and productive at work you need to concentrate – and water is one of the most important tools to help you do this. The brain is made up of more than 85% water and when you are not hydrated your brain feels the effects.
10 Seek assistance
