Warm & Capable Mouse Tales: Some Very Heated Computer Mouse Comments!

There's such a variety of computer mouse tales to report today, it's amazing. Just gathering the research for this post was eye-opening, fun, but somewhat depressing. Keep reading, and you'll surely see what I mean. The Mouse-Mouse makes me yuck-yuck!

It's a know fact, the computer mouse has been around for over 40 years. Many people predict it's on its way out, but for those of us who rely on the mouse for everyday tasks tend to disagree. First, if touch screens are going to replace the mouse, well , we 'll all have to buy a touch screen monitor and computer system. Right now, that's not going to happen for me. I just bought a Sony All-In-One Desktop and I love it. It'll be my computer for a long time. And, I'll predict the large monitor touch screens for desktops will be high priced before they become a household staple. Nonetheless, the thought of reaching over my desk to touch my way through the day freaks me out. It's bad enough I deal with mouse-hand problems. Can you imagine the shoulder pain and ergonomic mess from reaching all day?

There's a variety of warm and capable mouse tales to post today. Some of the stories are heated. I guess and I agree, I don't like the idea of using a real mouse as a computer mouse.

As the name implies, this devays successfully combines the functions of a computer mouse and phone calls on Skype. The optical sensor has a resolution of the gadget 1000 dpi, and to dial the number using the built-in keyboard and small display with a resolution of 128 × 64. Foot Operated Computer Mouse. From Instructables.com. The inventor writes: "I built the functions of a mouse into a footrest so I could compose and edit text without breaking my train of thought and taking my hands off the keyboard to fumble with a conventional mouse or trackball. Commercial foot operated mouses are available for up to $1500, but I do not care for the way they are implemented. My version can be built for under $30. Disclaimer: I am not actually a computer geek, I just play one on the Internet.

Star Trek Communicator From A Discarded Mouse. from DailyHack.net. Masynmachien has posted an interesting tutorial on how to transform an old computer mouse into a Star Trek (Original Series) communicator with chirp and talk back functionality. By combining an old computer mouse as the main body of the communicator, a paper hole pattern board (as used for circuit boards) as the flip antenna/lid, a cheap greeting card sound recording module for the chirp/"response from the enterprise" sounds, and a few other odds and ends, Masynmachien created a pretty impressive Star Trek communicator for his nine year old daughter. I think this hack is pretty flipping cool, but FTW? Friday isn't about my opinions, it's yours. So let us know what you think!

Gold Computer Mouse. from Quitor.com. Very beautiful computer mouse made from Gold. This mouse has 2 buttons and a scrolling wheel. It is very unhandy and not ergonomic. And I doubt that someone will buy this simple but very expensive mouse.

I doubt this computer mouse is real gold because I saw them selling for $37! I agree, not ergonomic. I'll stick with the ValueRays Warm Mouse for soothing warmth and deep healing infrared heat relief for my mouse hand. Good bye Gold!

Weird PC mouse displays LED messages, cools off through built-in fan. by Serkan Toto. Offered by a Japanese company, slightly over-engineered, USB connection and senseless but kind of cool. What sounds like the typical Thanko product, is offered by another company in Nippon: A computer mouse that can not only display LED messages but is also able to cool itself via a built-in mini fan. A company called esupply [JP], which I will keep an eye on from now on, is offering it on the Japanese market. Users can input a short “message” (the maximum is 10 characters though), which will be then shown on a mini LED display. And the fan inside the mouse will make sure you will never be in danger of getting a heat stroke from it. The mouse even comes with a tiny remote control that helps you input the text.

Ergonomic mouse designed. Dutch researchers reinvent the mouse . Almost 40 years after the humble computer mouse was first designed Netherlands-based Hippus has revealed a revolutionary ergonomic ‘bio-mouse’. Dubbed the HandShoeMouse the idea behind the mouse is to minimise stresses and strains in the shoulder and pains in the forearm used to control the mouse. Due to its curvature, the bio-design of the HandshoeMouse supports the natural shape of the relaxed palm of the hand, according to Hippus. In addition, the mouse offers a supporting surface for the whole hand including the heel of the hand, so that the mouse need not be continually controlled with the fingers. Read our tips on using your mouse. The hand muscles are noticeably less stressed after long periods at the computer - thereby preventing complaints. After only a short-period of familiarisation, the HandshoeMouse can be comfortably and accurately controlled. And since not every hand is the same size, the HandshoeMouse comes in three sizes - small, medium and large. The ergonomic design of the HandshoeMouse offers both relief and prevention. It has been developed on the basis of studies undertaken at university medical schools in Rotterdam and Maastricht.

And, last, but not least, the worst warm mouse tale of all..... the Mouse Mouse! Yikes. No thanks. Read what others are saying about this pathetic excuse of a mouse:

Stuffed Taxidermied Mouse Computer Mouse. By Jeff, Computer Gadgets. Sometimes you can be just a bit too literal for your own good. Such is the case with this stuffed mouse mouse. Some guy stuffed a mouse taxidermy style and then crammed a small computer mouse inside the tiny mouse carcass. Now he’s got a mouse mouse. I’m thoroughly grossed out…. yet somehow intrigued. As long as I don’t have to actually touch it, I’m fine. I guess this would be a great way to keep prying hands (of those who are squeamish) off your computer.

The Mouse Mouse: dead rodent, taxidermy, horrible"Fully functional, and furry!" by Tom Porter. Mouse Mouse - Mice, it seems, are like buses: you wait for an age and two come along at once. Although this one – the Mouse Mouse – looks like it was hit by the bus… It's a computer mouse inside a dead mouse and it is, quite frankly, disgusting. There's even an Instructables guide, so if taxidermy is your 'thing', knock yourself out. "Warning: this project involves taxidermy, dremels, and sometimes graphic pictures of dead animals. While there are no guts in this tutorial, viewer discretion is still advised. If you are offended by this entire idea, please peruse the wallet contest or the laser cutter contest instead."

Mouse Mouse Is Creepy. by UberGizmo.com. We'd suggest you give this article a miss if you do not happen to possess the necessary intestinal fortitude - after all, we're talking about a computer mouse that brings the truth much closer to home than what we're used to. The Mouse Mouse, as it is called for obvious reasons, comprises of a preserved mouse skin that wraps the innards of a computer mouse, complete with a slit cut out at the top of the mouse's back in order for the scroll wheel to function as it should. Creepy! We wonder what would happen after months of using this mouse - will all our sweat be soaked up by the dead rodent?

UGH that mouse is darn ugly - probably filthy as well. It won't keep your hand warm like the infrared heated mouse will from
www.warm-mouse-heated-keyboard.com
You can also go to www.igmproducts.com to see the other infrared heated products.
